Cenegenics - Dallas

Cenegenics runs its Dallas centre from 3811 Turtle Creek Blvd, Suite 225, four miles from Dallas Love Field. Its site puts the catchment across greater Dallas, including Plano, Frisco and Irving.

Membership starts with the Performance Health Assessment, a blood workup covering markers such as hormone levels, blood sugar and cholesterol, which a physician goes through before setting a programme.

On top of the diagnostics run at every Cenegenics location, the Dallas centre lists:

• CIMT, an ultrasound of the neck artery walls used to gauge vascular risk, and advanced CCTA, a CT scan of the heart's arteries read by software called Cleerly
• a CNS scan and a brain EEG (WAVi), both non-invasive readings of nervous system and brain activity
• VO2 max, a hard exercise test of the most oxygen your body can use while working at its limit, and DEXA body composition, a low-dose X-ray that measures bone and tissue

Genetic, nutrigenomic and micronutrient testing appear on the same page, as do hormone replacement therapy and bioidentical hormone therapy.

The centre physician is Dr Castel Santana, MD, a board-certified family medicine doctor and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, working with a performance health coach and a member experience coordinator.
