LifeSpan Medicine's Texas office is at 3400 Carlisle Street, Suite 460, in Dallas. It is one of three locations, alongside Santa Monica and Miami, in a practice Dr Chris Renna founded in 1992.

It sells ongoing programmes, not single appointments, so it suits someone after continuing care rather than a one-off scan.

Comprehensive Concierge is the main programme: preventive medical evaluations with round-the-clock access to the medical team. The Platinum Program is the tier above it, and the site limits it to 75 clients a year and opens only to people referred by an existing client. Its listed contents include a functional brain MRI, a scan that shows brain activity, and blood tests aimed at cognitive risk.

The site lists two other service lines:

• the Regenokine programme, treatment for joint, back and neck pain without surgery, listing platelet-rich plasma injections (PRP, made from a concentrated part of your own blood), prolotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and steroid injections
• IV therapy, drips of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids
