About Medcan
Medcan is a private preventative-health company in Toronto that sells day-long assessments to people who are not ill. Its Annual Health Assessment costs $4075 plus tax, runs about five to six hours, and covers up to 15 screening stations and more than 100 biomarkers (measurable blood and body readings) grouped under an in-house framework it calls the Vital Five: heart, cancer, mind, metabolic and movement.
Add-on modules are sold separately. The Enhanced Longevity Assessment offers an advanced biomarker panel, a home sleep study, continuous glucose monitoring (a skin sensor that tracks blood sugar through the day) and a consultation with a longevity physician, with single tests starting from $795. Other paid extras include a liver assessment from $815, a vision and eye check at $250, genetic screening, and the Galleri blood test, which Medcan offers as a screen for more than 50 cancers.
Memberships run alongside the assessments, from $1385 plus tax a year for an individual. Clinics operate in Toronto's Financial District, the Kingsway, Oakville, Collingwood and seasonally in Muskoka, with a York Mills site listed as opening in autumn 2026.
The offer is aimed at corporate clients and self-paying professionals who want a scheduled annual work-up rather than episodic care.
