LifespanMD

LifespanMD is a private longevity clinic at 900 Boyd Avenue in Ottawa, built around a two-day Comprehensive Wellness Assessment that clients repeat each year. It publishes no prices.

The assessment covers a physician examination, an electrocardiogram, spirometry - a breathing test of lung capacity - mole mapping and skin cancer screening, and VO2 max testing, which measures how much oxygen the body can use during hard exercise. Strength, core stability and flexibility are tested at least annually, and body composition is read with a Visbody S30 3D scanner.

Bloodwork is grouped into eight panels covering metabolic, cardiac, immune, kidney, liver, hormonal, blood and nutrient markers, with a two-week continuous glucose monitor and a DEXA bone density scan where relevant.

Optional extras run through named outside partners: whole-body MRI through Prenuvo, genetic risk testing through Invitae, and stem cell banking through Acorn Biolabs - collection and storage only, not a treatment.

Care runs as a membership, with semi-annual reviews, dietitian and fitness consultations, a personal health concierge, and hormone therapy for men and women. There is a separate executive health offer for corporate clients and a programme for seniors.

The clinic states that its fees cover uninsured services only, and that anything OHIP covers is billed to the province.
