Pura Longevity Clinic

Pura Longevity Clinic occupies Tower C, Level 9 of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. The clinic describes its approach as proactive rather than reactive: it sets out to identify changes in the body before symptoms appear, and then to build a plan around what it finds.

A first assessment runs over a single day. The clinic measures more than 80 biomarkers, which are substances in blood and tissue that indicate how organs are working, across six clinical areas, and combines them with imaging interpreted with the help of artificial intelligence. Depending on the programme chosen, the assessment can also include biological age scoring, an estimate of how old the body appears compared with calendar age; VO2 max, a measure of how much oxygen the body can use during hard exercise; body composition; a gut microbiome test, which profiles the bacteria living in the digestive tract; and screening for heavy metals and mould toxins.

Five programmes are listed, from Pura Experience through Silver, Gold and Platinum to Diamond, rising from 80 or more biomarkers to 95 or more, and from two consultation types to four. The clinic does not publish prices for them.

Care is delivered by physicians, clinicians and health coaches. The clinic lists an advisory board that includes Dr Ana Baroni, Brian Kennedy and Professor Eran Segal.
