Human Longevity - San Francisco

Human Longevity runs two clinics in California. This one opened in 2022 at 600 Gateway Boulevard in South San Francisco, a few minutes from the airport. The older San Diego site dates from 2015, and the company says both follow the same assessment protocol.

What it sells is a single day of testing, not ongoing primary care. Its Executive Health assessment packs into one visit:

• whole genome sequencing, a readout of a person's entire DNA rather than a few selected genes
• whole-body MRI, a head-to-toe scan that uses magnets instead of radiation, plus a brain MRI and a low-dose CT scan of the lungs
• heart tests, including an ultrasound of the heart, a trace of its electrical activity, and a calcium score that counts hardened plaque in the arteries feeding the heart
• a DEXA scan, a low-dose X-ray that measures bone density and body fat, alongside hundreds of blood markers
• a doctor's review of every result, with a written prevention plan

The company lists the price at $8,000 and limits this programme to people under 65; anyone older is directed to its 100+ programme. Most of the testing sits outside standard insurance, though the clinic says it qualifies for HSA and FSA spending.

Results go into an online portal the company calls the Personal Longevity Intelligence Platform. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and no membership is required to book.
