About Cenegenics - Phoenix

Cenegenics trades as Cenegenics Phoenix, but the centre is in Scottsdale, at 9060 E Via Linda, Suite 120. Its own site puts the catchment across greater Phoenix, including Mesa and Chandler.

Care runs in two stages, neither a drop-in appointment. A Performance Health Assessment comes first: a phlebotomist draws blood for more than 270 markers at your home or workplace, a physician reads it in advance, and you spend four to six hours at the centre for physical testing. Then comes the Performance Health Program, an ongoing paid membership.

On top of the diagnostics run at every Cenegenics centre, the Phoenix page lists:

  • VO2 max, the most oxygen your body can use while exercising flat out, and a DEXA scan, a low-dose X-ray measuring bone density and how much of your body is fat rather than muscle
  • an advanced CCTA, a CT scan of the arteries feeding the heart, read with software called Cleerly, and a CIMT, an ultrasound of the neck artery wall
  • a brain EEG (WAVi), a recording of the brain's electrical activity
  • genetic, nutrigenomic and micronutrient testing

Hormone replacement therapy is listed among the services, in bioidentical form.

The listed centre physician is Dr C.B. Daniel, MD, an internal medicine doctor who completed the Cenegenics age management fellowship in 2007 and opened this centre in 2011. A performance health coach and a member experience coordinator work with him.

Membership is required. The centre is 17.5 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor and parking is free.
