About Human Longevity - San Diego

Human Longevity's San Diego clinic puts a whole-body scan, extensive blood work and DNA sequencing into a single visit. It opened in 2015 and the company calls it its flagship site. A second California clinic followed in South San Francisco in 2022.

The address is 4570 Executive Drive, Suite 100, in the Eastgate Technology Park near UC San Diego, and the clinic is open Monday to Friday.

Equipment the clinic lists on site:

  • a whole-body MRI, a scan that images you head to toe looking for early signs of disease
  • a DEXA scan, a low-dose X-ray that measures bone density and how much of your weight is fat and muscle
  • CT imaging
  • echocardiography, an ultrasound of the heart
  • whole genome sequencing, a read of your complete DNA

The one-visit executive assessment combines the whole-body MRI with more than 120 blood markers and genome sequencing. Longer programmes add year-round monitoring, quarterly follow-ups and a named concierge physician.

It seems aimed at people paying privately for screening rather than being sent by their own doctor, and membership is not required for a single assessment. No prices appear on the clinic's website. Our directory places it in the top price band, so ask what the assessment costs, what follow-up is included if a scan turns up something unexpected, and which physician goes through the results with you.
