About LifeSpan Medicine - Miami

LifeSpan Medicine practises functional medicine, which means starting from the underlying cause of a symptom rather than the symptom itself. The Miami office is at 100 SE 2nd Street, in the downtown financial district, and the same practice runs two other offices, in Santa Monica and Dallas.

The practice sells packaged programmes, which it calls Platinum and Comprehensive, as well as individual consultations for one specific concern.

Services listed for this location:

  • hormone therapy, meaning prescribed testosterone or oestrogen replacement monitored by a doctor
  • PRP injections, short for platelet rich plasma: your own blood is spun in a centrifuge and the platelet-heavy fraction is injected into a painful joint
  • NAD+ and vitamin drips, nutrients fed into a vein through a cannula rather than swallowed
  • broad biomarker panels, blood tests that measure dozens of markers from one draw
  • full-body MRI screening, a whole-body scan that looks for disease before symptoms show up

A separate strand, which the clinic calls the Regenokine Program, is aimed at arthritis, back and neck pain, tendon problems and sports injuries.

No membership is required and the price band is $$$. Two things are worth settling by phone before booking. The copyright line on the clinic's website still reads 2021, so the programme details published there may be out of date, and the site does not say which clinician runs which protocol in Miami.
