LifeSpan Medicine - Miami

LifeSpan Medicine practises functional medicine, which means treating the underlying cause of a symptom rather than the symptom. The Miami office is at 100 SE 2nd Street, in the downtown financial district, and the practice has two other offices, in Santa Monica and Dallas. Dr Chris Renna founded it in 1992.

It sells packaged programmes and one-off consultations. Its website describes:

• a concierge programme of preventive medical evaluations with round-the-clock access
• the Platinum Program, capped at 75 clients a year and open only to people referred by an existing client, which includes a functional brain MRI, a scan of brain activity rather than only structure
• the Regenokine Program for arthritis, back and neck pain, tendon problems and sports injuries, alongside PRP injections (platelet rich plasma: your blood is spun in a centrifuge and the platelet-heavy part injected into a painful joint), A2M therapy, prolotherapy and trigger-point injections
• IV drips of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids, fed into a vein rather than swallowed
• integrative nutrition, and hormone health among the areas it treats

This directory also lists NAD+ drips, biomarker panels and full-body MRI for Miami. The practice's website mentions none of the three, so treat them as unconfirmed.

No membership is required and the price band is $$$. The team page names clinicians practice-wide rather than by office, though one, Dr Alison Levitt, is listed as licensed in Florida. The copyright line still reads 2021, so the details published there may be stale.
