Cenegenics - Houston

Cenegenics runs a membership-based age-management practice at 24 Greenway Plaza in Houston, and it also covers The Woodlands, Sugar Land and Katy. Programmes start with what the company calls a Performance Health Assessment, a round of biomarker testing and diagnostics that the physicians then build a plan from.

Two physicians are named on the Houston page. Al Bugazia, MD, trained in critical care and completed Cenegenics' age-management certification in 2023; he sees members in Houston and Dallas. Adriss Faraj, MD, is board certified in internal and cardiovascular medicine with more than 30 years in practice. A performance health coach runs the fitness testing.

On top of the diagnostics offered at every Cenegenics centre, the Houston page lists:

• a VO2 max test, which measures the most oxygen your body can use during hard exercise
• a DEXA scan, a low-dose X-ray that measures bone density and how much of your weight is fat and muscle
• CIMT, an ultrasound that measures the wall thickness of the artery in your neck
• a heart-artery CT scan, read by software called Cleerly
• brain and nervous-system testing, plus genetic, nutrigenomic and micronutrient panels

Hormone replacement therapy sits at the centre of the offer here, listed first among the Houston services. Hormones are prescription decisions made with a doctor, so that is the thing to press on: which ones, and how they are monitored. Membership is required and no prices are published.
