Cenegenics - Denver

Cenegenics Denver is in Greenwood Village rather than Denver itself, at 6400 S Fiddlers Green Circle, Suite 200, about 20 miles from Denver International Airport. Cenegenics says it also serves Boulder, Cherry Creek and Highlands Ranch.

Three physicians work here, more than at most Cenegenics locations. Tim Watt, MD, spent 35 years in neurosurgery before moving into longevity medicine. Eipe Kuruvila, MD, trained in anaesthesia in the UK and joined Cenegenics in 2017; his listed focus is catching heart disease early. Karen Pitman, MD, served 17 years as a US Navy medical officer and was at the Washington, DC centre before this.

Membership is required. New members start with the Performance Health Assessment, a round of blood work and scans, then continue on the Performance Health Program. Three performance coaches and two coordinators are also listed. Cenegenics publishes no prices; our directory puts the centre in the $$$ band.

Beyond the diagnostics run at every Cenegenics centre, the Denver page lists:

• a DEXA scan, a low-dose X-ray that measures bone density and how much of your body is fat rather than muscle
• VO2 max testing, which measures the most oxygen your body can use while exercising hard
• coronary CT angiography, a scan of the arteries feeding the heart
• CIMT, an ultrasound that measures how thick the walls of your neck arteries are
• a WAVi brain EEG, which records the brain's electrical activity, plus a separate nervous-system scan
• genetic, nutrigenomic and micronutrient panels
• hormone replacement therapy, including slow-release bioidentical pellets
