Park Igls Medical Spa Resort

Park Igls Medical Spa Resort is a residential Modern Mayr medicine centre at Igler Strasse 51 in Innsbruck-Igls, Tyrol, run by an in-house medical team under medical director Dr Peter R. Gartner.

Twelve programmes are published with prices, from a Detox Short Break at 2,158 euros to a Detox Medical Check at 6,193 euros. All include initial and final medical examinations, manual abdominal treatment, a personal Mayr diet plan, daily Kneipp contrast baths and use of the pool, sauna and gym. Beyond the detox tracks, named programmes address back and joint pain, degenerative nervous system conditions such as Parkinson's, menopause, sleep, fatigue and stress.

The diagnostic list is unusually specific for a spa resort:

• ultrasound of the carotid arteries, thyroid, abdominal organs, prostate, testes and breast
• resting and exercise ECG plus echocardiography
• blood panels covering hormone status, tumour markers, food allergy and oxidative stress
• microbiome analysis and breath testing for fructose, sorbitol and lactose intolerance

Intravenous drips with vitamin C or ozone, colon hydrotherapy, spirometry and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring are also on the list. CT and MRI scans, colonoscopy and specialist consultations are arranged through an outside network of physicians and billed direct to the patient. The resort recommends 10 to 14 days as a minimum.
