Medical Center Sorengo

Medical Center Sorengo is a private multi-specialty clinic at Via Ponte Tresa 35 in Sorengo, just outside Lugano, whose Precision Medicine & Longevity unit is headed by Dr. med. Jonas Montagna.

The unit sells preventative testing to people without symptoms. Its two flagship packages are Longevity Essential at CHF 1,250, covering biological age, inflammation, cardiometabolic markers, glucose metabolism and micronutrients, and Longevity Complete at CHF 2,950, which adds hormones, mitochondrial function, gut microbiome, genetics and fitness traits plus a 60-minute consultation to read the report. Biological age here means epigenetic age and telomere length - the protective caps on chromosome ends.

The clinic publishes a full price list of individual genetic and epigenetic tests, from CHF 175 for haemochromatosis risk to CHF 695 for pharmacogenetic profiling, and states plainly that these are private services not covered by Swiss basic insurance (LAMal) and that genetic tests need a medical prescription under Swiss law.

Imaging is thin: CT, MRI and PET scans are referred to partner centres. A separate Premium Care arm offers concierge medicine and reception in seven languages. Aimed at self-paying patients around Lugano who want laboratory-led prevention rather than a residential programme.
